Siksha `O` Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) is a deemed-to-be university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The university has ten degree-granting schools and institutes that offer undergraduate programs in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, business, nursing, biotechnology, agriculture, and law; graduate programs in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, business, nursing, biotechnology, science, humanities, environment, nano-technology, materials science, agriculture, and law; and doctoral degrees in the above areas.
SOA offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in various disciplines such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, etc. The university is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A++’ grade (3rd Cycle) and is ranked internationally by QS and THE World University Rankings 2022. The university has a sprawling campus of 200 acres in the city of Bhubaneswar. The research at SOA is headed by a dean with the other faculty.
SOA offers various medical courses such as MBBS, MD, MS, MDS, and B.Sc. Nursing. The MBBS program is of 5.5 years duration, including a one-year internship, and the MD and MS programs are of 3 years duration. The MDS program is of 3 years duration, and the B.Sc. Nursing program is of 4 years duration. The university has a 900-bedded multi-specialty hospital, SUM Ultimate Medicare, which provides quality healthcare services to the patients.
