National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences, Bangalore: The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) is a medical institution located in Bangalore, India. It is an Institute of National Importance that operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. NIMHANS is the apex center for mental health and neuroscience education in the country and is ranked 4th best medical institute in India, according to the current National Institutional Ranking Framework.
