The West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences, Kolkata: The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) is a prestigious national law university located in Bidhannagar, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was established in 1999 by an Act of the State of West Bengal and is considered one of the best national law schools in India. NUJS is an autonomous law university offering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. NUJS offers a range of courses in law, including BA-LLB (Hons), BSc-LLB(Hons), LLM (Corporate and Commercial Law), M Phil, and PhD. The university also promotes inter-disciplinary study of law in relation to management, technology, international cooperation, and development. NUJS has a large law library and a social science section with journals such as the Harvard and Cambridge Law Review.
NUJS has a 5-acre campus located in Salt Lake City, Kolkata, which is well connected to railway stations in Kolkata and Kolkata airport. The academic block of the campus has the NUJS library, two fully air-conditioned conference rooms, two huge lecture theatres, and the School of Technology, Law & Development.
