2. What is the fee structure of the courses?

3. Does PIBM offer any scholarships?

As of now, PIBM doesn’t have any provisions for any scholarships.

4. Does PIBM offer EMI options for fee payment?

Yes, we do offer EMI options for fees payments through SBI Scholar bank loan, Axis Bank, and Punjab National Bank.

Here is the step-by-step admission process for MBA courses at the Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM):

Step 1: Meet the Eligibility Criteria 

• Ensure you have completed your 10th, 12th, and graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in each.

Step 2: Prepare for and Appear in Entrance Exams

• PIBM accepts scores from various national and state-level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, and PMAT (PIBM’s aptitude test). It is mandatory to appear in at least one of these exams for MBA admission. For PGDM, if you have not appeared for these exams, you can take the PMAT test. 

Step 3: Fill Out the Online Application Form

• Visit the official website of PIBM (www.pibm.in) and click on ‘Apply Now’ or directly visit the online admission portal.
• Register yourself by providing basic details and create an account.
• Fill out the application form with all the necessary details, including personal information and educational background.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1,000 using UPI, internet banking, debit card, or credit card.

Step 4: Selection Rounds

• After submitting the application, you will be shortlisted for the selection rounds based on your entrance exam scores.
• The selection process includes:
  • Written Test: If required, PIBM may conduct an internal aptitude test (PMAT) for those who have not appeared in other national-level exams.
  • Group Discussion (GD): A mandatory round to assess your communication and teamwork skills.
  • Personal Interview (PI): A final round to evaluate your personality, motivation, and fit for the program. 

Step 5: Final Admission

• If you clear the selection rounds, you will receive communication from the Admission Department regarding the further registration process.
• Complete the registration process by submitting the required documents and paying the necessary fees.
• Final admission will be confirmed after document verification and payment of the tuition fees.

1. What is PMAT?

PIBM conducts an internal aptitude assessment test known as PMAT for the students. It is conducted for the students who wish to apply for the PGDM program but have secured fewer marks in other exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. In the case of the MBA program, it is mandatory to score a minimum of 50 percentile in national-level entrance tests to be eligible to apply.

2. What is the format of PMAT? 

PMAT test is conducted to check the aptitude skills of the students. The test consists of 50 questions which are divided into three sections. Section 1 checks the Quantitative Ability and consists of 20 questions. Section 2 checks the Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation skills and consists of 15 questions. Similarly, section 3 checks the Verbal Ability of the students through a set of 15 questions.

The duration of the test is 75 minutes and the total marks are 200 with 4 marks for each question. Also, there is a negative marking of 1 for every wrong answer.
