The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), located in Kolkata, is a pioneering institution in the field of management education in India. Established on April 25, 1953, through a resolution adopted by the Syndicate of the University of Calcutta, IISWBM was founded by Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the then Chief Minister of West Bengal.
